After the very successful Billboard Music Awards 2014 event, comes another awards night this June.  BET Awards 2014 happens live on June 29 with the announcement of winners.  The nominees were earlier released and here is the list:

Back in the limelight are the Ultimate Fighting Championship fighters as UFC 172 happens very soon this weekend.  The main event in the upcoming UFC 172 is Jon Jones vs. Glover Teixeira.  Jon Jones, the current UFC Light Heavy Weight champion will defend his title against Glover Teixeira who is undefeated for almost nine years.  If Jones will succeed in defending his title, it would be his seventh-straight title defenses.

After the 2014 Billboard Latin Music Awards event comes another Billboard Music Awards showcasing the best songs and artists in a broader area not limited to Latin music.  The Billboard Music Awards 2014 will happen live from Las Vegas on May 18, 2014 with a number of music artists scheduled to perform on stage.  If you enjoyed the recently held Billboard Latin Music Awards, expect more from the upcoming Billboard Music Awards 2014.

Performing at the 2014 Billboard Latin Music Awards was, among others, Ricky Martin.  His performance marked the world premiere presentation of the song "Vida."  The singer was very lively and energetic in his performance of the song.

The much-awaited Billboard Latin Music Awards 2014 is happening tonight.  Here, the most popular Latin music as well as performers will be given recognition for their exemplary contribution to the art of music.  The Billboard Latin Music Awards has been considered the longest-running awards show in Latin music.  The event will be held live tonight from the Bank United Center in Coral Gables, Fla. and televised live on Telemundo.

Russell Wilson, Seahawks quarterback, made a brief statement today.  His statement has nothing to do with his football career rather on his personal life specifically on his marriage.  Being known as a religious person, he tweeted a verse from the Bible saying, "God never promises the absence of storms. He just promises to walk with us through them."

Chris Brown will remain in jail until June, TMZ reports.  To recall, Chris Brown was placed in prison after punching a man in the face in Washington, D. C.  This punching occurred last October 27, 2013, however he was in police custody only this April 2, 2014 while waiting for his trial.

After Justin Bieber's arrest, a petition to deport him was filed which received a total of 273,968 signatures.  Since a petition only requires 100,000 signatures for the White House to make an official response, this petition obtained its response not long ago.  Here it goes:

Lindsay Lohan never stops to surprise the public of different revelations concerning herself.  It seemed that her being in jail and in rehab are by no means enough.

Recently, in the final episode of her show entitled "Lindsay," it was revealed that Lindsay Lohan had a miscarriage, however, her parents said she was fine after the incident.  

Now, another issue came out not in countenance of the actress.  This is in connection with her latest feature as a cover star in a magazine.

The Golden State Warriors lead the series, 1-0 against the Los Angeles Clippers.  According to coach Doc Rivers, "There's a lot of things we can do better.  We had a lot of opportunities; we just didn't capitalize on them. They did. They made all the big ones." (source: espn)

Latin music artists will swarm the night when the official Billboard Latin Music Awards 2014 winners will be announced a few days from now.  This event will happen live come April 24th with a number of performances expected to set foot on stage.

There is no secret that The Voice coach Christina Aguilera is pregnant.  By the time The Voice Season 7 comes to live show, it would be arduous for the singer to continue coaching for the upcoming season.  Although NBC desires to continue her services despite her pregnancy, Christina Aguilera decided not to.  However, she is set to return as The Voice Season 8 elimination round begins.

Because of the absence of Christina Aguilera, there are reports as to who might replace her during the next season of the show.  It has been reported that Gwen Stefani will coach in the seventh season of the "The Voice" TV show.  Nevertheless, NBC failed to comment on the matter.  A formal announcement has not been made by NBC.

It seems like it was only yesterday when the Oscar Awards 2014 ceremony transpired.  During that event, the movie "12 Years A Slave" grabbed the best picture while the most awarded movie was "Gravity" which was starred by Sandra Bullock.  Today, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the important dates for the upcoming Oscar Awards 2015.  The following are:

NBA Season 2013-2014 is about to end as playoffs games are about to start a few days from now.  On April 16, 2014 marks the last day of the live showing of the remaining games of the season prior to the playoffs or simply put the last day of the regular season. The 2014 MTV Movie Awards happened on April 13 live from Los Angeles.  Although the core of the event was the announcement of winners, the range of artists set to perform live also made the event indubitably entertaining.  The list of performers include Ellie Goulding, Zedd, Miriam Bryant and Matthew Koma not to mention Eminem and Rihanna whose performance became viral in the internet.

Great news for Justin Bieber's fans.  Justin Bieber is confirmed to perform at the upcoming 2012 American Music Awards along with other long list of performers.  The list which is yet incomplete includes Taylor Swift, Christina Aguilera, Nicki Minaj, Pitbull and Linkin Park. 

 

As to what song Justin Bieber will be performing is yet unknown.  Nevertheless, whatever it may be, it will certainly wake up several Beliebers out there.  Added to the joy of Justin Bieber's fans is the fact that the latter is also a nominee.

This month of November, expect an excruciating fight between Georges St. Pierre and Carlos Condit in the upcoming UFC 154.  Both fighters deserve commendation as they are incumbent title holders in different levels.  St. Pierre is the current Welterweight Champion while Condit is the current Interim Welterweight Champion.

Prior to the date of the event, UFC announces the media conference call for this fight which will take place today at 2pm.  The fighters for the main event are set to attend in today's media conference.  UFC President Dana White is also confirmed to appear.
