Kevin Pearce Injured

The end of 2009 is not good for Olympic snowboard hopeful Kevin Pearce. Kevin Pearce was injured due to an accident while practicing his sport.

ESPN reports that Kevin Pearce was practicing Thursday afternoon at Park City Mountain Resort in Utah. He hit his head on the wall and thereafter became unconscious.

Kevin Pearce is supposed to play for the US Team in the upcoming Olympics. In fact, he was preparing for a qualifying event in Mammoth Mountain, Calif.
