Torch Relay for the 2010 Winter Olympics Commences

What's the latest for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics? Its the start of the torch relay. The Olympic flame lit was conducted in a historical way.

The first torchbearer is Vassilis Dimitriadis a Greek skier. This same torch will be used to officially open the 2010 Winter Games on February 12, 2010. The relay will be held for 113 days. This is considered the longest relay ever in the history of the Olympics.
