A Halloween-night concert of Buju Banton will be held on October 31, 2009 at Miami’s James L. Knight Center. Instead of inquiries as to where to buy the tickets or who the guests are, a protest has been made for the purpose of stopping the concert to push through.
Buju Banton sang the song Boom Bye Bye which allegedly gives people the idea that gays should not be respected and that their lives are cheap and harming them is okay. According to his promoter Andrew Minott, "It's a dance hall phrase, `Let's murder him. Murder the boy over there,' It's not literal. It's figurative."
What do you think? Should the Buju Banton Halloween Concert be canceled or not?
