Senator Ted Kennedy died due to brain cancer. According to reports, Ted Kennedy Jr. suffered bone cancer, Patrick Kennedy undergone removal of a non-cancerous tumor from his spine, Kara Kennedy Allen, who is Senator Ted Kennedy's daughter, was operated for lung cancer while Joan Kennedy was treated for breast cancer.
